Important Changes for 2026

Changes are coming to Co-Op plans that we want you to be aware of before you renew coverage.

Pay Very Close Attention:

At the time of this notice, the enhanced Premium Tax Credit are set to expire on December 31, 2025.

Please ensure that you continue to qualify for a premium subsidy before renewing current plan to avoid surprise costs.

Please review these changes carefully to make sure your Co-Op plan meets your needs for 2026.

We value your membership and hope to continue to provide you with
coverage next year.

Effective January 1, 2026

Our 2026 plans will limit coverage for services provided outside of Montana or Idaho.

This mean we will not pay for any services, supplies, drugs, or devices outside of Montana or Idaho, as long as the services are available within these States.

Renewing Coverage in 2026

If you want to keep your current coverage, you may be set to auto-renew with your current plan.

Or you may need to renew or change your coverage during open
enrollment between October 15 and December 15, for coverage to start on January 1, 2026.

Enhanced Premium Tax Credit Set to Expire

The Enhanced Premium Tax Credits (American Rescue Plan + Inflation Reduction Act) were created during 2021 but scheduled to expire at the end of 2025.

At this time, congress has not made a decision to renew.

Key Components of the Enhanced Tax Credit for Americans:

• Expanded eligibility by removing the 400% Federal Poverty Level income cap

• Increased tax credit amount, lowering the cost of premiums

• Capped premium cost to no more than 8.5% of household income

What happens if they expire?

Premium subsidies revert to the standard version, which has lower assistance, no protection against premium cost to household income, and excludes eligibility of households above 400% FPL from any type of tax credit.

This means your premium cost may increase significantly depending on your household income.

Prevention today means protection tomorrow.

Every Co-Op health plan* still comes with our Signature Benefits designed to save costs and keep you healthy.

These benefits offer access to care you need annually and help you identify underlying health issues which you may not know about.
