Effective September 1, 2024

At Mountain Health Co-Op, we’re always looking for ways to make our services better for you. That’s why we’re thrilled to announce new and improved features coming your way on September 1, 2024!

Because of the new and improved features, you will get a new Member ID card in the mail this September. Please update your card information with your providers so your claims can be processed correctly. If you have any problems or denials, feel free to contact our team for help.  We’re here to support you through these exciting updates.

What you need to know

As of September 1, our new phone number is 800-299-6080.  

The new Member Portal also offers secure messaging for you to reach the Member Service team, so you can connect with us there.  Register for your account today.

Tip: Your portal “Registration Code” is your Member ID number, plus the two digits that appear to the left of your name on your Member ID card.  

Starting in September, members with individual plans may notice their bills have a new enhanced format and look. Please review it carefully for changes. If you need help with payment processing, please contact our Member Services team.

Your new Member ID card contains a few key pieces of updated information. This includes our new phone number and the address where your doctor should send information about your claims. All other information remains the same.

After your new Member ID card arrives, make sure to update it with all your providers so your claims will be processed correctly.  There is new information for them to submit billing.  If they do not have this updated, your claims could be denied.

If any of your claims are denied, contact us for help.

No – all the information your pharmacy needs to fill your prescriptions is the same.  Just make sure your pharmacy updates your Member ID card next time you stop in.  

If you’re not sure we have the right contact information for you, it’s easy for you to fix!

If you purchased your own coverage, you’ll have to go to the platform where you enrolled in your plan to update your contact info.

Mountain Health Co-Op

If you are covered by an employer-sponsored plan, contact your human resources representative to update your information.

There are no changes to your plan or your provider network.  Just make sure to update the insurance card your providers have on file at your next appointment.

Your new Member Portal offers a safer, more secure way to submit your questions, request new ID cards, track your out-of-pocket expenses, and much more. To send messages to the Co-Op, you’ll need to log into this secure portal. Registration and login details will be available by September. Get ready for a more secure and seamless experience!

We’re upgrading your portal so it’s a secure, one-stop shop for all your needs.  We set up a new portal that’s easy to navigate and gives you access to all your health insurance information.  Inside your new portal, you can…

  • Download a digital Member ID card,
  • Order replacement Member ID cards,
  • Securely message the Member Service team,
  • View your claims and see how much you’ve paid toward your deductible,
  • Estimate your cost of care,
  • Track your doctors,
  • View your plan summary,
  • And more!
