Changes, Effective January 1, 2026

Thank you for partnering with the Co-Op to ensure your clients have health coverage.  We value our members and look forward to providing them with coverage in 2026. Changes are coming to Co-Op plans that we want you to be aware of before you assist your clients in renewing coverage. Please review these carefully to make sure their Co-Op plan meets their needs.

Effective January 1, 2026:

• This Plan will limit coverage for services provided outside of Montana or Idaho. It will not pay for any services, supplies, drugs, or devices outside of Montana or Idaho, if the services are available in those States, with the following exceptions:
  • Emergency or urgent care. The Co-Op will work  to transition care to an In-Network provider as soon as possible.
  • Services provided by an In-Network provider in Utah after receiving an approved out-of-area authorization from the Co-Op. Contact the number on the back the member ID card for information about which providers are eligible.
  • Services provided by an Out-of-Network provider in other states after receiving an out-of-area authorization from the Co-Op because no provider is available in Montana, Idaho or Utah.
• Plans will no longer offer a travel reimbursement benefit for travel for health care services.
• The reward program for vision and dental reimbursement will be administered via an electronic card. Rewards will get to members faster.

Members may be set to auto-renew for 2026 or may need to renew or change coverage during open enrollment between October 15 and December 15, for coverage to start on January 1, 2026.  We value your partnership  and look forward to working with you next year.

At the time of this notice, the enhanced Premium Tax Credits are set to expire on December 31, 2025. Members will receive a notice explaining your eligibility for premium help.  They can also log into healthcare.gov or yourhealthidaho.org to view premiums amounts for 2026.
